We have connected our Acer Aspire One Netbook to an external monitor via VGA port, effectively with the Aspire One, as you are using a desktop tower. The setup works quite well after you have it over to the monitor mode are switched (as described in the video), it remains in this setup until it no longer recognizes the VGA cable at startup. In a subsequent video (entitled "Aspire One external monitor setup), I will detail about how you first go to the settings input, so that the graphicsOptions menu is the only one you need to use to monitor them to switch from notebook to external monitor.
